Terry Pobst-Martin photoTerry Pobst-Martin - State of Idaho CISO
Terry is the Chief Information Security Officer in the State of Idaho’s Office of the Chief Information Officer. In this position, Terry coordinates the state's enterprise security strategies, policies, and procedures; and serves as the contact person for statewide security initiatives.  Terry develops a comprehensive state security and privacy program, coordinating with Agency IT Security Coordinators to develop the best policies for the state.  Terry leads the development and proposal of security policies, standards and guidelines and provides initial and on-going network security educational opportunities. 

Prior to accepting this position in July 2007, Terry worked for the Department of the Air Force and was the 366th Communications Squadron Information Systems Flight Director at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho.  Prior to working as an Air Force civilian in the Communications Squadron, Terry served as a United States Air Force Intelligence Officer for over 20 years.  She served in locations such as the United Kingdom, Germany, Turkey, Italy and Bahrain and supported operations in Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia, Iraq, Libya, and several African nations.

Terry received her Bachelor’s Degree in History from the United Stated Air Force Academy and has a Master’s Degree in General Administration from Central Michigan University and a Master’s Degree in National Security Affairs from the Naval Postgraduate School.
Craig Schiller photoCraig Schiller - Portland State University CISO
Craig serves as Chief Information Security Officer and adjunct instructor of Portland State University, and as the president of Hawkeye Security Training.  He also serves an adjunct instructor of Digital Forensics for Portland Community College. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), with additional concentrations in Security Management (ISSMP) and Security Architecture (ISSAP). 

He has worked in the computer industry for the last 29 years.  For nineteen of those years, he worked as an information security professional.  He has served as the Information Security Officer for five corporations and institutions.

Craig is the primary author of “Botnets- The Killer Web App” which is the first book published on the subject of botnets. He is known and respected in the security industry as the primary author of the first publicly-distributed version of the GSSP, now known as the Generally Accepted Information Security Principles (GAISP). He has published more than a dozen chapters in various security books, including several previous editions of the Information Security Management Handbook. His latest published work includes chapters in Virtualization for Security (Syngress) about using virtualization technology in computer forensics and malware analysis.

Craig is a volunteer Police Reserve Specialist for the Hillsboro Police Department.  He is the organizer of volunteers for their “Police to Business” program.  Craig led the development of the NASA Mission Operations AIS Security Engineering Team and founded NASA's Technology for Information Security conference.  He is a co-founder of two Information System Security Association chapters.  He served as an officer in the Air Force, assigned to Airborne Warning and Control Systems (AWACS) and the Defense Support Program (DSP – Space Command)
Bryce Galbraith - Lead Consultant, Layered Security
Bryce began his IT journey at 10 years of age with a Commodore 64 and a 300 baud modem. As a contributing author of the internationally bestselling book Hacking Exposed: Network Security Secrets & Solutions, Bryce helped bring the secret world of hacking out of the darkness and into the public eye. Bryce has held security positions at global ISPs and Fortune 500 companies as well as being a senior member of Foundstone's world-renowned attack and penetration team. Bryce also served as senior instructor and co-author of Foundstone's "Ultimate Hacking: Hands-On" series.

As a certified SANS instructor, he has taught the art of ethical hacking and countermeasures to thousands of IT professionals from a who's who of top companies, financial institutions, and government agencies around the globe. Bryce currently teaches Security 504: Hacker Techniques, Exploits and Incident Handling, Security 560: Network Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking, Security 517: Cutting-Edge Hacking Techniques, Security 550: Advanced Information Recon, Security 401: SANS Security Essentials Bootcamp Style, and Security 561: Network Penetration Testing: Maximizing the Effectiveness of Reports, Exploits, and Command Shells for the SANS Institute.

Bryce is an active member of several security-related professional organizations, he speaks at a variety of conferences, and he holds a number of certifications: CISSP, GCIH, GSEC, CEH, CHFI, Security+, and CCNA. Bryce is currently the lead consultant and co-founder of Layered Security.
