  Thunderbird POP to Exchange   

These steps will allow you to move messages you had previously POP'd to your computer back to the server for use in Outlook for Exchange 
  1. Select the Tools drop down menu and click on Accounts Settings...

  2. Click on the button Add Account.

  3. Select Email account and click Next.

  4. Enter your name and e-mail address, then click Next.

  5. Select IMAP and enter the server as mail.uidaho.edu, then click Next.

  6. Enter your Username and click Next
     
  7. Change the Account Name to Exchange and click Next.

  8. Click Finish and both Accounts should be listed, then click OK.

  9. Click on the Finish button to exit.
     
  10. Your previous POP folders are listed under Local Folders and Exchange folders under Exchange

  11. To move a folder from your local computer to the Exchange system, simply drag and drop the folder.
     
  12. To move the messages in your Inbox, Sent Items, or Drafts folders, click on one of the folders and then Edit then Select All.

  13. Once the messages are selected, right-click and select Copy To then select Exchange and finally the corresponding folder to copy your messages over to the Exchange server.

  14. Your custom folders can be dragged and dropped into the Exchange folder list.
