| These steps
will allow you to install the
UI Root
SSL Certificate for using secure web pages that are using a
UI minted SSL license. These instructions are currently only for
Windows/Internet Explorer. The SSL Certificate can be
installed from here.
- Right Click on the link above and select "Save Target
As..." in Internet Explorer or "Save Link As..." in Firefox
and save the Certificate file to your desktop. Locate
the file on your desktop and double click on it.
- Next you will see the Certificate Information Screen.
Click on "Install Certificate".
- This starts the Certificate Import Wizard. Click Next to
continue past the welcome screen.
- Leave the option "Automatically select the certificated
store based on the type of certificate" selected and click
"Next".
- Click "Finish" to exit the import wizard.
- Next you will have a final confirmation of installing
the certificate to the "Root Store". Select "Yes".
- You will see a final confirmation that the certificate
was imported to the Windows certificate store.
The next time you visit an SSL secure web page that is using
the UI Root SSL Certificate you will not be prompted to accept
the certificate. |
